A Roleplaying Game for Aspiring NIMBYs
Written by Jesse Alaway and Illustrated by David Knowles
Welcome to the Neighborhood
HOA is a suburban mystery tabletop roleplaying game for 4 players and 1 Gamemaster using a d12 pool system.
You play the officers of a homeowners association board in charge of a quaint neighborhood where every shrub is trimmed, every house is an approved shade of blue, and every neighbor is happy and friendly-it's mandatory. As officers of the HOA board, it's your job to deal with issues caused by the supernatural residents and their reality-bending abilities. You'll need absolute power and absolute pettiness to put a stop to anyone disturbing the neighborhood peace.

HOA Mechanics

A D12 Dice Pool System
As you successfully arbitrate your neighborhood, you can utilize the neighbors you are able to successfully rehabilitate to be used as assets during future meetings. Garner enough support and you just might be able to put an end to the HOA's control for good.
Attempt to roll specific numbers which are used to gather specific pieces of evidence for the mystery.
A Simple Yet Robust Character Building System
Build your customized officer by choosing a total sum of character traits relating to each aspect of their life:
Homelife - hobbies, employment, or present circumstances

Aptitude - professional skill or responsibility
These traits not only help you role-play your officer, but offer mechanical effect needed to manipulate dice numbers and successfully adjudicate the neighborhood.
