HOA: A Roleplaying Game for Aspiring NIMBYs

HOA is a suburban mystery tabletop roleplaying game for 4 players and 1 Gamemaster using a d12 pool system.
You play the officers of a homeowners association board in charge of a quaint neighborhood where every shrub is trimmed, every house is an approved shade of beige, and every neighbor is happy and friendly-it's mandatory. As officers of the HOA board, it's your job to deal with issues caused by the supernatural residents and their reality-bending abilities. You'll need absolute power and absolute pettiness to put a stop to anyone disturbing the neighborhood peace.
Written by Jesse Alaway and illustrated by David Knowles
HOA's mechanics include:
A d12 pool system where you attempt to roll specific numbers to gather specific pieces of evidence for the mystery.
A skills system where your character's mechanical abilities in the different ability scores of the reflect how skilled they are in that area (more abilities under an ability score = better at that ability score). Your character's mechanic abilities also reflect your character's background; each ability is an aspect of your character's life (past, present, or professional).
A neighborhood leveling mechanic where the neighbors you are able to successfully deal with can be used as assets during future adventures.
In addition to the system information, the HOA book includes:
Four pre-generated characters
Two adventures for the Verdant Grove neighborhood: "Lawn and Order", a tale of a boy boss gone wrong, and "To My Friends Pictured Within", the result of pets being left unsupervised
Illustrated player handouts for the two adventures
Templates for character sheets, player handouts, tracking neighborhood changes, and writing your own adventures
A scripted Sample of Play
Optional mechanics for increasing difficulty and ending a campaign
